This was the funniest scene of the show, in my opinion. I wanted to make this track more upbeat. But first I wanted to sort of create a fakeout. The music starts off like most of the other emotional points in the show. Very sweet and pretty, and then suddenly, The characters are taking off their clothes, getting excited, it builds and builds and builds up. I use basically one riff through the whole scene. But that riff is very simple and cute sounding, it fits with the upbeat part and the pretty ending.
I use riffs and looped melodies through the whole show, to add some simplicities but also some character to each scene. To make it more cute sounding. In fact, when I try to describe the visuals I imagined when writing the show, I said a pop up book.
