The start of this track sounds very similar to "Snowball." I wanted to create the same type of emotion that was created in that song but with a more uplifting tone.
A character is saying goodbye to someone. It's very emotional. She's sad but happy. The music starts to pick up. She feels like she just let go of a huge weight on her shoulder. The music stops. She says hello.
I love the flute sounds I used and the main melody. It sounds very light and cheery. I originally wanted synthesizers to represent the northern lights in each scene. I scrapped the idea, later, but you can see in this song how some of those ideas were originally there.
